It’s safe to say we haven’t heard much from Kyle Walker in recent weeks.

The defender has been linked with a £40 million move to Manchester City after losing his place in the Tottenham starting line-up to Kieran Trippier.

Many believe Walker has had his head turned and will leave Spurs this summer. But the right-back finally broke his silence on Tuesday via social media.

He released a video tribute to White Hart Lane on his Twitter account. You can watch it below.

Walker appears to have a genuine connection to the club, and it’s worth remembering he has given many years of excellent service to Tottenham.

Whether he will still be a Spurs player come next season is still up for debate.

  1. Love Walksy. He needs to stay and be a champion with us. He has worked so hard to get where he is and it would be a big shame if he leaves. He wont get the same feeling in the dressing room or on the training ground if he leaves. Spurs is now Spurs is the future…hang in there Kyle, get yourself some new bonuses put into your contract and get your head down. You can be the BEST in the world playing within our amazing team. COYS x

  2. Kyle walker being my role modal in spurs for all this years Just like this situation tripplieron injury what else no one makes confidence in spurs funs like kyle

  3. I truly hope that this will not be another example of another top player leaving. Kyle is one of the best defenders in the country. It would be a massive mistake to let him go.
If there have been issues between the player and manager, then they should sort it out in a professional manner rather than merely walk away.
