Tottenham have announced their squad for the club’s upcoming pre-season tour of the USA, and there are four notable absentees.
Erik Lamela, Danny Rose and Heung-Min Son are all staying home to continue their recoveries from hip, knee and arm injuries respectively.
Moussa Sissoko is unavailable due to a virus. The Frenchman is expected to leave Spurs this summer, so some fans might be a bit suspicious about the official reason for his absence.
Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Kevin Wimmer have also been linked with summer transfers, but the duo have travelled with the rest of the squad.
A number of youth players have also been included, namely Brandon Austin, Jaden Brown, Jon Dinzeyi, Anthony Georgiou, Will Miller, Tashan Oakley-Boothe and Alfie Whiteman.
Tottenham will travel to Orlando, New Jersey and Nashville to train and take part in a number of friendlies in a bid to build up fitness for the new season.
