Tottenham are interested in signing Giovanni Simeone, the son of Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone, according to The Mirror.
The 22-year-old striker scored 12 league goals for Serie A club Genoa last season and has previously been linked with Crystal Palace and Italian sides Torino and Fiorentina.
The report claims Spurs are yet to make a move for Simeone, but he has been brought to the club’s attention.
Any striker who comes in at Tottenham is likely to play second fiddle to Harry Kane — just ask Vincent Janssen.
