Tottenham midfielder Josh Onomah has joined Aston Villa on a season-long loan, Spurs have announced.
Onomah has also signed a new four-year contract with Tottenham.
The news was broken by Mirror journalist Darren Lewis on Twitter.

It was later followed up by The Independent before Spurs officially announced the deal.

Onomah played a part in Tottenham’s pre-season tour of the USA after helping England Under-20s to World Cup glory earlier in the summer.
The 20-year-old was expected to be used in the first-team more often this season, but that obviously won’t be the case.
Mauricio Pochettino generally avoids loaning out high-potential players, but Independent journalist Jack Pitt-Brooke has explained the Argentine’s thinking.
Poch was initially against a loan but he has been persuaded that letting Josh go and play in centre mid is in his best interests.

Everyone agreed, fans, press, management and owners that Tottenham needed strengthening
this summer; all we have done so far is weaken the squad.Going backwards yet again; pathetic.
