Summer signing Juan Foyth made his first appearance for Tottenham on Wednesday evening in the 1-0 win over Barnsley in the third round of the EFL Cup.
The 19-year-old, who completed his move from Estudiantes on deadline day, lined up in a back four next to captain on the night Jan Vertonghen.
He had a couple of hairy moments but mostly enjoyed an impressive debut.
Despite the lack of TV converage, one of Foyth standout moments was caught on camera.
The centre-back used his strength and awareness to nick the ball from the feet of a Barnsley attacker before roaming up-field and starting an attack, demonstrating how comfortable he is in possession. You can watch it happen below.
