Tottenham face Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Tuesday evening, and there’s one man who surely won’t be daunted by the occasion.
Madrid are a familiar opponent for Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino. He faced them a number of times in La Liga during his time as an Espanyol player.
In fact, he once scored against them. The goal has been unearthed by Tottenham fans on Twitter ahead of this week’s meeting.
Pochettino leaped and latched onto a free-kick to head home for Espanyol. Hopefully the current Spurs centre-backs can replicate their manager on Tuesday night.
