Christian Eriksen wasn’t the only Tottenham player producing magic during the recent international break.

While the Dane was scoring an incredible hat-trick to take Denmark to the World Cup finals, 18-year-old Marcus Edwards was playing for England’s Under-20s against Germany.

The Germans ran out 2-1 winners at the Zwickau stadium thanks to a Johannes Eggestein brace.

But England scored the best goal of the game. Harvey Barnes finished off a flowing move that included a superb back-heel assist from Edwards.

The Spurs starlet is hoping to break into the first team at club level this term, and moments like this will certainly help him to persuade Mauricio Pochettino.

  1. We have to keep coming up with new young stars because Levy is not going to give players like Delli Alli the money they deserve to stay. Spurs fans should enjoy their time in the sun…it will be short lived…unfortunately,

  2. If u r right then there is no point supporting the club. As we will never win anything again. Hopefully when the stadium is finished wage structures will be reviewed
