Sam Allardyce has admitted Tottenham target Ross Barkley is likely to leave Everton this month.
The midfielder, who is also wanted by Chelsea, has just six months remaining on his Everton contract.
And Allardyce expects the clubs that are interested to be in touch at some point in January.
“I think the club was resigned before I got here that they were going to lose Ross so I can’t see that changing,” he told reporters. (Quotes via Evening Standard.)
“I would expect there would be (contact) some time in this window if there is going to be any interest from any of the big boys.”
Hopefully Spurs move quickly to get this one done or Chelsea could swoop.
