Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.

The 25-year-old has been one of the standout players outside the top six in the Premier League this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists for the Hornets.

The Sun (via HITC) claims contract talks between Watford and Doucoure have stalled, and Spurs and Arsenal are believed to be keen to take advantage.

Tottenham are apparently on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Mousa Dembele, and Doucoure could fit the bill.

Alternatively, Doucoure could be a potential squad player upgrade if Spurs decide to let Moussa Sissoko leave in the summer.
