Victor Wanyama’s memorable strike against Liverpool has been named Premier League Goal of the Month for February.
Tottenham drew 2-2 at Anfield with Wanyama’s wonder-goal and a late Harry Kane penalty cancelling out Mohamed Salah’s double.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side trailed 1-0 until the 81st minute when substitute Wanyama latched onto a Loris Karius clearance and sent a stunning shot into the top corner.
It was an incredible effort from a player who doesn’t score many – it remains his only goal of the season in any competition.
