Anthony Martial is “open to moving to Tottenham”, according to the Telegraph, after his agent revealed the Manchester United star wants to leave Old Trafford.

Spurs were linked with Martial in the summer of 2015 before he left Monaco for United, where he has scored 36 goals in 136 appearances across all competitions.

The Frenchman has once again emerged as a potential target for Tottenham in recent weeks.

And speculation about a possible move to North London is now rife after Martial’s agent, Philippe Lamboley, confirmed his client is seeking an exit from United this summer.

“After thinking about all the possibilities, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United,” said Lamboley (via the Telegraph).

“When Manchester United, which is the most powerful club in the world, does not find an agreement in eight months of negotiations, it is that it does not really want to make him an important player.”

Martial was left out of France’s World Cup squad by manager Didier Deschamps after scoring 11 goals for United in 2017/18.

According to the Telegraph, the 22-year-old is open to joining Spurs, and Mauricio Pochettino is eager to sign him.

However, United aren’t keen on the idea of selling Martial to a Premier League rival – Chelsea and Juventus have also been linked.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham make an official move for Martial in the near future.
