Tottenham travel to Inter Milan for their Champions League opener on Tuesday hoping to avoid a third straight defeat in all competitions.

Following losses to Watford and Liverpool in the Premier League, Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

Spurs have already confirmed Hugo Lloris, Dele Alli and Moussa Sissoko will all miss the game through injury, while Pochettino has also revealed Toby Alderweireld and Kieran Trippier haven’t travelled to Italy.

That means we will see a much changed line-up at the San Siro.

Michel Vorm is likely to keep his place between the sticks despite his shaky display against Liverpool. Serge Aurier and Davinson Sanchez will almost certainly replace Trippier and Alderweireld, and Ben Davies could come in for Danny Rose.

Eric Dier’s place is under threat following his disastrous outing on Saturday, so Victor Wanyama could be in line to steal the 24-year-old’s spot and make his first start of the season.

Harry Winks might not be ready to start just yet; we think Mousa Dembele, who came off on the hour against Liverpool, will keep his place in midfield.

A number of players will be fighting for the attacking places, but with Son still not fully fresh after his international escapades with South Korea, Pochettino could go with an attacking midfield three of Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura behind Harry Kane.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Inter Milan – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments.
