Tottenham Hotspur host Newcastle United at Wembley in the Premier League this weekend, and Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

Dele Alli and Harry Kane remain sidelined while Ben Davies is a doubt. Other than that, the injury crisis appears to be getting better.

Pochettino has been using a back three in recent matches, but he may decide to re-introduce Eric Dier this weekend. The midfielder can drop into the back line when needed.

Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld will probably partner each other at centre-back, while Kieran Trippier and Danny Rose are set for starts on the flanks.

Moussa Sissoko and Christian Eriksen should join Dier in the midfield three, giving Harry Winks the opportunity to be rested or used from the bench.

After Wednesday’s victory over Watford, Pochettino admitted it wasn’t to plan for Son Heung-min to play 90 minutes immediately after his return from the Asian Cup.

As a result, Son could begin on the bench against Newcastle, with Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela starting behind Fernando Llorente.

Here’s our predicted line-up to face Newcastle – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.

  1. Let’s play to Llorentes strengths and get decent crosses on his head !!

Flick ons for Moura to run into!

Son coming in early second half for Lamela and doing the same !

    I don’t trust in Dier.
