It feels strange to say Tottenham Hotspur are not really missing Mousa Dembele.
Despite recent poor results, Spurs have not rued Dembele’s exit due to the fact he was only playing at about half of his ability towards the end of his spell at the club due to injury and fitness issues.
It makes more sense to say Tottenham perhaps should have signed a replacement for Dembele in January as they are currently lacking depth in central midfield.
