Tottenham Hotspur have put Serge Aurier up for sale, according to reports in France.

Aurier arrived at Spurs from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017 and has been used in rotation with Kieran Trippier.

But even with Trippier struggling for form, Aurier has failed to do enough to nail down a starting place this season.

The Ivory Coast international has made just 17 appearances across all competitions this term, including only eight in the Premier League.

And according to France Football (via GFFN), Spurs intend to sell Aurier this summer.

Aurier’s exit would leave Mauricio Pochettino with two senior right-backs, Trippier and Kyle Walker-Peters, but there have also been question marks over the quality of those two.

Trippier has been poor since shining for England at last summer’s World Cup, while Pochettino has been reluctant to use Walker-Peters regularly.

With that in mind, it will be interesting to see if Tottenham pursue a new right-back in the coming transfer window.

The Londoners haven’t made any signings for over a year, but Aurier’s exit could force them into the market.
