Tottenham Hotspur fans seemed to enjoy the return of Vincent Janssen on Wednesday night, none more so than Eric Dier.
Janssen made his first appearance for Spurs since the 2016/17 season, coming off the bench for the final 10 minutes plus stoppage time of the 1-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion.
In our player ratings, we mentioned that Janssen showed more composure in 15 minutes than Fernando Llorente did all night.
But perhaps the best moment of Janssen’s cameo was a tackle he produced in stoppage time to prevent a Brighton counter attack.
