Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Roma starlet Nicolo Zaniolo this summer, according to reports.

Zanilo, a 19-year-old attacking midfielder, has made 33 appearances across all competitions so far this season, scoring six goals.

Italian outlet Tuttosport claims Spurs are ready to put an offer in for Zaniolo in a bid to beat the likes of Manchester City and Juventus to his signature.

The Mail also suggests Zaniolo is among Tottenham’s summer targets after the teenager impressed scouts from the club.

What’s more, the Mail’s report goes on to say Zaniolo is valued at just £35 million by Roma, which is a relatively low fee in today’s market for a high-potential youngster.

It is believed Spurs will prioritise moves for young players this summer, with Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish still of interest to the Londoners.

Grealish is also valued at around £35 million, but Tottenham will probably hope to sign him for less – that may depend on whether Villa are promoted to the Premier League via the Championship play-offs.
