Tottenham Hotspur have been told to pay £20 million for Leeds United starlet Jack Clarke, according to the Mirror.

Earlier this week, we relayed reports suggesting Spurs had lodged a £10 million offer for Clarke, who made his Championship debut for Leeds this season.

The 18-year-old winger finished the campaign with two goals and two assists in 22 league appearances, doing most of his work from the bench.

And the Mirror claims Tottenham must pay around £20 million if they are to convince Leeds to part ways with their Young Player of the Year.

Clarke is a keen dribbler with a fine delivery and would add plenty of quality and potential to Spurs’ squad.

That said, his lack of experience may see him struggle for game time if he does join Tottenham, and with that in mind the Mirror believes Mauricio Pochettino could send him back to Elland Road on loan for a season.

That scenario would make sense for all parties, although Spurs do need immediate additions to the first-team squad having failed to make a signing since January 2018.
