Fenerbahce want to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen on loan again, according to reports in Turkey.

Janssen spent the 2017/18 season with Fenerbahce, scoring five goals in 18 appearances across an injury-laden campaign.

The Dutchman returned to Spurs in the summer of 2018 but was unable to seal a move away from the club because of a foot injury.

He was subsequently left out of Tottenham’s Premier League squad but was eventually added to the group following Mousa Dembele’s January exit.

Janssen made three cameo appearances from the bench at the end of this season but didn’t find the net despite coming close in a defeat to West Ham United.

His performances are unlikely to have convinced Mauricio Pochettino to use him more regularly next term, meaning a departure is likely.

And according to Turkish outlet TRT Spor, Fenerbahce are keen to take the 24-year-old on loan once again.

There is a chance Spurs will target a new centre forward to provide cover for Harry Kane this summer unless Fernando Llorente, whose contract is set to expire, agrees terms on a new deal.
