Paris Saint-Germain are considering a late move for Tottenham star Christian Eriksen, according to reports in France.

It is believed PSG are close to agreeing a deal that will see Neymar return to Barcelona. If that’s the case, the Ligue 1 champions will need to sign a replacement before Monday’s European transfer deadline.

And according to French outlet Le Parisien, PSG are tracking Eriksen and Paulo Dybala, who almost joined Spurs before the English transfer window closed earlier this month. The Argentinian ended up staying at Juventus, but the Serie A giants are said to be willing to sell him for around €70-80 million.

If that deal doesn’t come to fruition, Le Parisien believes PSG could move for Eriksen. Despite the fact he has just one year left on his contract, Tottenham apparently value the Dane at €80-100 million, so he will actually be more expensive than Dybala.

On Thursday, Eriksen expressed his excitement for Spurs’ Champions League campaign on social media, suggesting he may have already accepted he will be staying in north London this season. But late interest from PSG could change things if they are willing to meet Tottenham’s asking price.
