Mauricio Pochettino has held his Premier League press conference ahead of Tottenham’s trip to Brighton this weekend.

The Spurs boss was defiant about his future, insisting “now is the time to stay together” after Tuesday’s embarrassing 7-2 defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

He went on to defend Dele Alli, labelling the midfielder a “very important” player who will “recover” from his current run of poor form.

Serge Aurier is suspended for the Brighton game, and Pochettino suggested Moussa Sissoko is the best option to play at right-back – read more about those quotes here.

  1. Problem is you don’t seem to be learning from your mistakes. And what’s wrong with moura don’t you like playing him of something

  2. Moura is good but his form is inconsistent. When he was getting more starts he hasn’t delivered… The problem is that the squad is not yet mentaly recoverd from UCLF, Poch has no backing(from chairman) , squad hasn’t been refreshed(with new players) we have no right back, Dele is in terrible form, Eriksen wants out as Vertongen and Aldervereld, Hugo is unrecognisable, Aurier has some mental issues etc…. P. S:The new players that have arrived(with exception of Ndombele) have been mostly injured and didn’t get a desired impact.
