Ben Davies showed his quality for Wales by producing a wonderful assist for Gareth Bale’s equalising goal against Croatia in Euro 2020 qualifying.
The 26-year-old, who underwent groin surgery over the summer, has struggled for minutes for Tottenham this season, but has featured in all three of Wales’ competitive matches this term and made his most telling contribution yet at the Cardiff City Stadium this evening.
Davies’ wins the ball back just outside the Croatia box before picking out Bale with a perfect through pass, who slotted into the far corner with his trusty left-foot.
