Harry Kane played a starring role on Monday night as England returned to winning ways with a 6-0 victory against Bulgaria.
The England forward, who scored the Three Lions’ only goal in their 2-1 defeat to Czech Republic on Friday, was in fine form in the Sofia and had a hand in five of England’s six goals as they moved a step closer to qualifying for Euro 2020.
Marcus Rashford got the ball rolling for England with a thunderous early strike before Kane took centre stage and provided three assists and a goal. Two of those were for his strike-partner Raheem Sterling, whilst the other was a delicious right-wing cross for Barkley to head home his second.
Kane also played pivotal part in England’s fourth before grabbing the goal his performance deserved in the latter stages to round off the win.
As expected, Kane, who entered the top-ten in the Three Lions’ all-time top goalscorer list with his late strike, received lots of praise for his stunning display and you can see some of the best responses below.
3 assists for Harry Kane.
Directly involved in four goals.
I hope England fans put their petty club rivalry aside and start to accept OUR Captain is world class. #BULENG #UefaEuro2020

Master class from Harry Kane. Imagine not thinking he’s the best

Harry Kane is an elite level footballer, not just a world class finisher. His touch and passing is fucking superb, has been for years. Corner taking is still horrific though

Is that three assists and one goal out of 6?
Not bad for a penalty taker and tap in merchant.
Harry Kane. World class.

It is performances like these that tell you why Harry Kane is the most complete striker in English football and one of the best in Europe.
Some Man Utd fans think he's not worth 200 million pounds.

3 Assist and 1 goal against Bulgaria a team that would find it difficult to beat a english second division team and Harry Kane is the best striker in the world worth £200 million and that’s after England where already winning 5-0 with out penalties. Lol
