The teams for Tottenham’s Premier League encounter with Sheffield United have been confirmed.

And the headline news is that Giovani Lo Celso makes his first Premier League start since arriving at the club from Real Betis in the summer.

Mauricio Pochettino has made just two changes to the side that thrashed Red Star 4-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday, with Ben Davies coming in for Danny Rose at left-back and Serge Aurier replacing Juan Foyth on the right.

The centre-back partnership of Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez that worked so well in Belgrade is retained, as is the midfield trio of Lo Celso, Moussa Sissoko and Tanguy Ndombele.

Dele Alli, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane make up the front three in a line-up that has pleased the supporters.

There had been fears Pochettino would revert to an XI that has been struggling for results in the Premier League, so it is refreshing to see him pick the likes of Dier and Lo Celso.

Spurs fans have been reacting to the team news on Twitter, celebrating Lo Celso’s inclusion and praising Pochettino’s other selections. See the best responses below.
