Tottenham winger Jack Clarke is set to join QPR on loan for the remainder of the season, according to Sky Sports.

Clarke joined Spurs from Leeds United in July after an impressive breakthrough season in the Championship last term. He was immediately loaned back to Elland Road but found first-team football harder to come by this season, playing just 19 minutes of league football before being recalled by Tottenham.

It seems Spurs want to send Clarke somewhere he will play more regularly, and it looks like QPR have won the race to sign the 19-year-old. Sky Sports claims Rangers have beaten the likes of Middlesbrough, Stoke City and Millwall in the battle to take Clarke on loan.

The report goes on to reveal Clarke’s preference is to work under QPR manager Mark Warburton, who is currently giving plenty of minutes to another Spurs loanee, midfielder Luke Amos.

Presumably, Clarke will now move from West Yorkshire to London, which will help him to settle in the capital before hopefully becoming an important player for Tottenham in the future.
