Tottenham’s last Premier League victory came against Aston Villa just under a month ago and on this day in 2009 Spurs were producing another Villa Park win – one of just four away successes in the 2008/2009 campaign.
After famously collecting just two points from eight matches, the appointment of Harry Redknapp saw an upturn in results for Spurs – with goals from Jermaine Jenas and Darren Bent earning Redknapp’s men a 2-1 win at Villa Park.
