Tottenham continued their unexpected title challenge on this day in the 2016-2017 campaign as Mauricio Pochettino’s men thrashed Bournemouth 4-0 at White Hart Lane to record their seven consecutive Premier League victory.
Moussa Dembele’s 10th and final goal for the club, and Heung Min Son’s neat finish put Spurs two-goals in front inside 20 minutes, before Harry Kane sealed the points in the 48th minute. There was even time for Vincent Janssen to notch his only Premier League goal from open play which sealed yet another win that closed the gap on leaders Chelsea to just four points.
