When the Premier League does return after the lengthy break for the Coronavirus pandemic, Tottenham supporters will get to see Harry Kane back in competitive action after more than five months out injured.

The 26-year-old, who has scored 17 goals in 24 games in all competitions this season, sustained a hamstring injury at Southampton on New Year’s Day, which forced him to undergo surgery and miss 15 matches.

However, after spending months on the sidelines, Kane returned to training earlier this week for the first time since the game at St Mary’s and was joined by a host of his teammates at Hotspur Way as the Spurs players prepare for ‘Project Restart’.

Kane revealed earlier this week that he will be fit enough to play when the Premier League does restart. And judging by his Instagram post on Saturday, the England captain is unsurprisingly excited at the thought of getting back out on the grass.

He uploaded a picture of himself at training with a simple caption that said: “Missed this”.
