Tottenham could let young goalkeeper Brandon Austin leave on loan this window, according to the Daily Mail.

The 21-year-old signed a new deal until the summer of 2022 in back December, but is yet to make a senior appearance for Spurs, although he was named on the bench on four occasions last season when Hugo Lloris was out injured – including the 2-1 loss at Old Trafford.

Following those four substitute appearances, Austin was rewarded with a loan spell at Danish outfit Viborg in January, where he played 14 times.

Austin’s impressive stint with Dane’s saw him earn a call-up to the England U21 squad for their qualifiers against Kosovo and Austria earlier this month, although he was an unused substitute in both matches.

He has continued to be involved in the first-team set-up, but with Joe Hart joining an already competitive goalkeeping department, Austin’s opportunities are going to be limited this season.

And the Mail believe that Spurs are willing to loan out the goalkeeper – with a host of Championship and League One sides interested in giving the ex-Chelsea youth man valuable experience.
