Heung Min Son has scored his first Premier League hat-trick.

Having netted twice – both from Harry Kane assists – either side of half-time, the South Korean produced another clinical finish to put Jose Mourinho’s 3-1 ahead and on course for their first Premier League victory of the campaign.

Kane picked the ball up on the halfway line and played a delightful through pass to his striker-partner, who composed himself before slotting under Alex McCarthy.

  1. We got the win, but if jose continues to be stubborn, oh well that is what got Poch fire. Having this profound believe in his system without the right players. You cannot play Tanguy at the #10 spot and expect midfield with zero creativity and ball movement from Winks and PEH 2 plodders to drive tjecteam from the back. It is not about Tanguy fitness, it is about Jose stubborness to play a 433 or 4123 to allow his natural skills to take place. When Gio came on he played at the humber 10 some. But it was Kane that makes the difference in a spot Spurs do not have a creator to plug in. Southampton stupidity in not adjusting the highline saw Son running off the shoulders of defenders because they could not cope with the speed and incisive passing of Kane. Just image the body of work Kane put in at the #10 slot and think if we have a real 10 how delighted it will be for the front 3 in the end on those passes. Finally Sanchez needs to sit. He chased a ball over the top he has zero chance of reaching instead of bust his ass back to cover Dier. He ran right into a squared position and gave Ings one touch to beat 2 men. He is lacking in football intelligence.
