Tottenham defender Ryan Sessegnon is set to join Hoffenheim on a season-long loan, according to Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Sessegnon is yet to feature for Spurs so far this season, failing to even make the 18-man squad in recent games.
And now, Romano – who is always reliable when it comes to transfers – claims the England Under-21 international will move to German side Hoffenheim until the end of the season.
Done deals and confirmed. Ryan Sessegnon to Hoffenheim on simple loan, Juan Foyth to Villarreal on loan with buy option. Official announcement soon. Tottenham approved both deals. ?⚪️ #THFC #Spurs https://t.co/W24uW7R5nC

Romano says it is a ‘done deal’ and there is no option to buy, but that isn’t the case for Juan Foyth.
On Friday we relayed word from Romano that Foyth is close to joining Villarreal on loan with an option to buy for €15 million.
And the journalist now says Foyth’s loan is also a ‘done deal’, meaning Tottenham have all but agreed to sell the Argentinian – if Villarreal trigger their option in the future.
Put simply it seems Sessegnon has a long-term future at Spurs, but Foyth doesn’t.
With that in mind, Jose Mourinho will hope Sessegnon plays regularly in Germany while he won’t be as bothered about Foyth’s game time in Spain.
Is there such thing as player loan?
