Tottenham want to offer Heung Min Son a bumper new contract, according to various reports, including the Daily Mail.

Son has just under three years remaining on his current deal, but Spurs are expected to reward the South Korean forward for his outstanding start to the campaign.

The 27-year-old is the joint-top goalscorer in the Premier League along with Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewis, netting eight goals in just seven appearances in all competitions, whilst providing plenty of assists.

Along with Harry Kane, Son has become one of Tottenham’s key players in recent seasons, and the Daily Mail believe that offering Son fresh terms is a priority in the coming weeks.

His opener against West Ham on Sunday was his 93rd in total for Tottenham, and at this current rate will quickly be joining teammate Kane in scoring 100 goals for Spurs.

With Kane already tied down until the summer of 2024, this would be another significant boost for Jose Mourinho.
