Moussa Sissoko has given Tottenham a half-time lead against Brentford in their Carabao Cup semi-final.
Following a cagey start from Jose Mourinho’s side, the Frenchman, scoring for the first time since the 5-0 victory over Burnley last December, found himself unmarked to plant a fine header past David Raya and into the top-corner from Sergio Regulion’s left-wing cross.
It means that Spurs are now just 45 minutes away from reaching their first domestic final for almost six years.
