Juventus are interested in signing Giovani Lo Celso and Tottenham have named their price, according to reports in Italy.

Lo Celso joined Spurs in the summer of 2019 and has enjoyed sporadic bursts of form in the first-team, although injuries have stopped him becoming a regular under Jose Mourinho.

He has been out for the last several weeks with a thigh problem, but a recent return to training suggests he could play a crucial part in the busy run-in.

However, Lo Celso’s Tottenham career could be about to come to a premature end if Italian outlet Calcio Mercato is to be believed.

They claim Juventus want to sign Lo Celso this summer, with Cristiano Ronaldo backing a move for the Argentine midfielder.

The report goes on to say Spurs want at least €25 million if they are to sell – we wouldn’t be surprised if the asking price is even higher, given the Londoners would make a loss at that amount.

If Juventus are genuinely keen to get a deal done then this could get interesting, but we think Lo Celso should be given more time to prove himself at Tottenham.

  1. Typical juve trying to get everything on the cheap worlds cheapest club. Might pay big wages but don’t like paying for players. Lo celso will not go for anywhere near that price covid or no covid

  2. Absolute garbage, lo celso cost about 60m in total and is hugely promising. Will improve massively once we get rid of jose and bring in a pressing coach, because hes creative, intelligent and supremely gifted on the ball. Jose only values speed in the wideforward positions rather than lo celsos skills so has had him competing with ndombele and dele in the central 10 position. NDombele, lo celso and dele were all supposed to play in the same starting line up and under a better coach they would.
