Tottenham’s previously postponed trip to Leicester has been rescheduled.

Antonio Conte’s side were meant to travel to the King Power Stadium on 16 December, but a number of Covid-19 cases saw the fixture called off on the morning of the game.

But Tottenham have since confirmed a new date, and it’s bad news for Conte, whose side will face the Foxes on Wednesday week in the first of three Premier League games in eight days.

The exact date for the game is 19 January, three days after the north London derby and four before Spurs travel to Stamford Bridge for a second time this month.

It only adds to what is already a gruelling month for Spurs, who’ll play seven games across three competitions, providing they don’t have any more postponements due to Covid-19.

Tottenham still have two further games in hand against Burnley and Brighton, although no update has been made regarding a new date for either.
