Heung Min Son has returned to training and is in contention to face Brighton in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.

The South Korean forward has missed the last four games followed a hamstring problem sustained against Chelsea, but he’s on the verge of making his comeback.

Son was in superb form prior to injury, scoring four goals in his last seven Premier League games, but injured a muscle in the Carabao Cup defeat at Chelsea in early January and missed the second leg, plus games against Morecambe, Leicester and league fixture at Stamford Bridge.

But Sky Sports believe that following the winter break, Son is back on the grass at Hotspur Way and has returned to full fitness after almost four weeks out.

There’s no guarantee that Son will come straight back into the starting XI, especially with  Dejan Kulusevski in contention, but his return is a major boost to Spurs’ chances in both the FA Cup and Premier League.
