Tottenham will be aiming to bounce back from the midweek defeat to Southampton when Wolves visit in the Premier League on Sunday, and Antonio Conte has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

In his press conference on Friday, the Spurs boss suggested January arrivals Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski could make their first starts for the club after impressive cameos from the bench in the last two games.

With that in mind, we think Bentancur will replace Harry Winks in central midfield, slotting in next to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, while Kulusevski will join Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in the front three, in place of Lucas Moura.

Eric Dier and Japhet Tanganga are still injured – as is Oliver Skipp – so the back three in front of Hugo Lloris will once again consist of Cristian Romero, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies. Sergio Reguilon and Emerson Royal should keep their places on the flanks.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Wolves – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.

  1. Sorry but Sanchez and Royale are a liability and in my top 5 worse EVER Spurs players over 60yrs of being a fan.
They perform ? week in week out and keep there places because our January window business was a joke.

    • Agreed. As bad as Mat Dohety is he needs to be given a run. Maybe his pride may kick him in the behind. My problem with this set up is, it not working as it should, but the manager keeps plugging away with the same personnel even during games no change to remedy the situation.

  2. To those who continually sing the praises of Conte, he always starts with the same line up, irrespective of if the players are doing well or not and unlike Woolwich, never gives youth a chance.
    Won’t be here very long.

  3. Spurs should play a 3 5 2 with 2 wingers providing the width and a midfield 3 in front of the back 3, this provides goals from midfield and attack. If Nuno had beenbraver and used a 3 5 2 we would be better off. My 11 would be Lloris Davies Romero Sanchez Bergwjin Hojberg Winks Bentancur Kuluveski/Moura Kane and Son.Hojberg as deepest with Bentancur and Winks ahead of him with Winks charged with being the disruptor on defense and defensive cover in attack

  4. Sessengnon in form like at Fulham is what we need to make 3 4 3 work as as well as a Doherty in Wolves form but with that unlikely my vote is play the wingers and press disrupt with wingers and one midfielder out of possession in the opponents half of the f the defensive 3 without the ball to dominate midfield especially without the ball…..if only Conte read this stuff
