Tottenham ran out 4-0 winners over Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Matt Doherty opened the scoring before Dejan Kulusevski doubled the visitors’ lead, and Harry Kane made it three before the break.

Son Heung-min put gloss on the scoreline with a late fourth. Here’s how every Spurs player rated on the day.

Hugo Lloris, 6 – A couple of comfortable saves. Bailed out by Ben Davies after misjudging an interception in the second half.

Cristian Romero, 7 – Comfortable on the ball and strong in the tackle as usual. Roamed forward with flair too.

Eric Dier, 7 – Impressive in the middle of the back three once again. Spurs can’t afford to lose him to another injury.

Ben Davies, 7 – A couple of sloppy moments but made up for them with that excellent tackle after Lloris’ error.

Matt Doherty, 8 – Constantly arrived in the box with some great forward runs and was rewarded with the well-taken opener.

Harry Winks, 8 – Received the ball brilliantly throughout and helped Spurs keep possession when Leeds were pressing hard.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, 8 – His inch-perfect pass set up Kane’s goal and he kept battling to start counters late on.

Ryan Sessegnon, 8 – His best performance for Spurs? Lovely assist for the first goal and was a consistent threat down the right.

Dejan Kulusevski, 9 – Leeds couldn’t cope with the Swede, who constantly cut inside onto his left foot and scored a very good goal.

Harry Kane, 9 – Another imperious display from the talisman. Took his goal superbly and words aren’t needed for that pass to Son.

Son Heung-min, 7 – A lot of good running but it felt like nothing was quite coming off for him until that great finish at the end.

Substitutes

Steven Bergwijn, N/A – Some good runs on the counter that didn’t come to much.

Emerson Royal, N/A – Perhaps should have done better when put through on goal by Kane.

Dane Scarlett, N/A – Barely touched the ball in a short cameo.

  1. We absolutely needed this result! No more giving away ground in the race for top 4. Arsenal are relentless, so good on them, but like all the other teams we are chasing they will find a rough patch perhaps. Their squad is pretty thin. United drop points every other week and they have some tough games ahead. If we can nip them in our next match, I think we will only have to worry about Arsenal.
