Tottenham are ahead at half-time against Brighton.
Harry Kane should have broken the deadlock in the early stages, but the opening goal did arrive eight minutes before the interval.
It started with Sergio Reguilon on the left before Heung Min Son teed up Dejan Kulusevski, whose low effort hit Cristian Romero and wrong-footed Robert Sanchez before rolling into the bottom corner.
Kulusevski should have doubled the lead moments later, but was unable to beat Sanchez when through on goal.
