Heung-Min Son – Evidence grows that Tottenham move near

2

Spurs fans were given a pleasant surprise today when rumours broke that the Bayer Leverkusen forward Heung-Min Son could be on his way to White Hart Lane.

Multiple-sources have reported that the South Korean is joining Tottenham, with suggestions that a bid has been accepted and even that Son was in London for a medical.

Bayer Leverkusen are in action tonight in the Champions League against Lazio. It seems that the 23-year old is due to miss the game with an ‘infection’.

The deal also makes sense in relation to our other transfer business. Erik Lamela is possibly leaving to join Inter Milan, while the arrival of Son would reduce the need to sign Saido Berahino. Even if the West Brom striker is still on the shopping list, adding another forward to the ranks certainly puts the club in a less desperate position as they negotiate with the Baggies.

  1. Still need that central playmaker and ‘proper’ left winger, but could be a wise signing.
But I’d also like to say to Levy ….get your money out and help one of our greatest ever legends, JIMMY GREAVES. There has never been a player bigger than the club, but if anyone came close on occasions, it was the likes of Jimmy Greaves and Dave Mackay. This one man gave me more pleasure in just one or two games than the whole recent team (with the exception of Bale and latterly, Kane) has in the past 3 years. His recovery needs the club’s help, and the club don’t even have to dig deep into their resources to provide it. So come on Levy …help one of our TRUE GREATS, and a loyal servant of Tottenham Hotspur FC.

  2. Agree with that! Worth his weight in gold .Remember going every home game early 60’s , great team, fabulous players and Bill Nick ,arguably our Greatest manager, who lived for and inTottenham ! Don’t get that nowadays.
Oh to have that now or,maybe one day ,forever the dreamer !
