Tottenham fought back to earn a point in a tricky contest with Liverpool at White Hart Lane yesterday.
The visitors were the better side for much of the first half, taking the lead just before the break through a James Milner penalty after Erik Lamela fouled Roberto Firmino in the box.
Spurs stepped it up after the break, eventually grabbing an equaliser through Danny Rose, but it wasn’t enough to excuse a generally poor performance over 90 minutes.
As usual, SpurredOn were on hand to gauge the home fans’ mood after the game.
I think we need to start with Wimmer to partner Eildewereld. Vertongen is to slow in his position and dragging the game. Saturday against Liverpool we where never in that game they should have killed that game.
Well we had four shots on target, the bindippers 3 (including the penalty)….
Ok Mané was outstanding and perhaps that was the difference…
We still have a player who cannot tackle and against sides like the the bindippers that will always prove costly…
