With twenty minutes to go at White Hart Lane, it looked like it was going to be one of those days for Tottenham as they struggled to really test Aston Villa’s resolve.
That was until the introduction of Georges-Kevin Nkoudou immediately changed things.
Moments after coming on, the former Marseille man cut in from the left and swung in a perfect cross. And who was there to meet it? Surprisingly, it was Ben Davies. The Welshman was on hand to head in his first goal for the club.
