AVB also paid tribute to his team, many of whom played in all three games from Lazio through to Liverpool over a six day period.

So what are the options if AVB decides that somebody does need a rest? Friedel back for Lloris would infuriate a few supporters but would it be a big surprise?
Up front, Adebayor finishes his ban so Defoe remains unchallenged while across the back four, injuries mean that the defence picks itself.
So the only questions may be in midfield with the likes of Sigurdsson, Livermore and possibly Tom Carroll battling for a start.
We think it will be unchanged however and the formation will look like this, but what’s your view?

I agree Dawson and Gallas has a good game against liverpool.. but I dont want Caulker to get stuck on the bench as he is our future.. so I would be happy with Caulker coming in for either Gallas or Dawson. (i actually think Dawson and Caulker may be our best pairing until Kaboul is fit). Also Ade should come in for Dempsey in my opinion.. especially as its against fulham (Ade has served his ban right?)

dawson was awful against liverpool. almost cost us dearly on 2 occasions with his passing

i wish that avb would drop dempsey. Put carroll next to Sandro and play Dembele is a more attacking position
