This Day In Spurs History: 30th April

1910 – On this day in 1910, Spurs played Chelsea at White Hart Lane. Both teams were struggling at the foot of the table and whoever lost would be relegated to the second division. Tottenham won the match 2-1 and stayed up, thanks to goals from Billy Minter and Percy Humphreys.

1983 – Tottenham defeated Liverpool, 2-0 at White Hart Lane. Both goals were scored by Steve Archibald.
