If Barcelona draw a blank in their pursuit of Gareth Bale, could they come back to Tottenham for Sandro?

Our Brazilian defensive midfielder announced himself on the world stage back in February, with an outstanding display in the San Siro against AC Milan. Prior to that he had been Tottenham’s most improved player as he contributed to three consecutive Premier League wins.

Milan themselves are also reported to have shown an interest, but it’s Barcelona who are believed to have had Sandro watched on several occasions.

Harry Redknapp will doubtless want to keep a player who has come on so well this year, but could Sandro’s head be turned by the prospect of a move to the Nou Camp?

  1. Unlikely considering barcelona and milan want him for £10 million which is the price we bought him for, if barcelona cannot afford to pay £40 million for fabregas how are they going to afford to buy bale while sandro probably wont go for more than double his purchased amount

  2. Problem is he isnt even a starter for us, just down to the ability of Huddlestone and Modric, he is a great defensive midfielder and if we played 433 with ModHud and Sandro he would be immense.

I would never sell him if I did he is 21, proven in europe, brazilian international with unreal potential, seriously can’t sell for less than 20 million.

  3. Wont happen! He loves spurs, maybe in a couple of seasons depending on how well we do. Not know though. It’s rubbish paper talk.

  4. I am fed up complaining about the way the media are inventing stories about our players being sold as they cause disharmony, and then we have one of our bloggers doing the same.
