Harry Redknapp spoke of his pride in his Tottenham side after their comeback at White Hart Lane last night.

Speaking after the 3-3 draw Harry said: “We got after them better and had the best chances to win it in the end. Their keeper has made a couple of saves that I don’t think he knew too much about. We could have easily won it.

“I just felt it was a great game. It was a pleasure to be involved in it. That’s what football is about, people paying to come and see football matches like that.

“To see a team come back and show the character we showed from 3-1 down tells you an awful lot about the players here and the character we have got at the club. I couldn’t have asked for much more than that. I was so proud of the players.”

The draw leaves us in fifth, two points behind Manchester City. Spurs will go fourth if they beat West Brom on Saturday with City facing a trip to Blackburn on Monday night.

  1. I think it will again all come down to our trip to City in May. As Spurs fans we are certainly used to being realists but I really have a good feeling about the run in. A draw against a side having an opportunity to pull points back against United just goes to show the effort and mental attitude has changed compared to the past. Great to have Hudders back. Very important.
