Bongani Khumalo has spoken very positively about his start to life in England although there remains a lot of speculation as to whether he is up to the task of performing at the highest level.

Speaking on the club’s official website the player said: “It was a great experience to play my first matches in England.

“I worked hard at Spurs with all the coaches, got used to the environment, the players and conditions and it was great to get a test of all I’d learned at Preston.

“I did all I could, but my loan spell was cut short through injury.”

After three appearances on the sub’s bench, Khumalo was loaned out to Preston before a fractured metatarsal put paid to his season.

While the player is very upbeat, there was a suggestion last week that Harry is convinced that he isn’t ready for Spurs and maybe never will be. For the time being at least, another loan to a championship club looks to be the likeliest option.

  1. Is this another of Arry’s wheeler dealer deals from Arry’s Auto’s. Wish Arry would stop Wheeler dealing and buy a decent player for a fuken change. Oh and my brother says stop buying old tossers as well, like Joe Cole, Beckham, Neville, Parker, Forlan etc.

    • Bongers was deal struck by Levy through our links with Supersport in SA you muppet. I positively encourage constructive criticism of our manager if it is well founded. Nobody cares what you and your brother think.

  2. Funny that since we’ve signed none of those players… In fact the only player in that age range Harry signed and we’ve still got is gallas, and I doubt your brother will argue with that one…
