Maicon to get taxi to Spurs in Bale exchange?

by Matthew Harris on July 28, 2011

While Luka Modric stories have dominated the transfer window this summer, they have at least taken the focus away from Gareth Bale.

In the meantime however, there has been the odd rumour involving the Welsh winger and these have included a £45m approach from Barcelona and / or Inter Milan.

While many of these stories suggest that no official move will be made until next summer, the latest rumour indicates an approach in this transfer window from Inter that would include an incredible four players coming the other way.

New boss Gian Piero Gasperini is keen to make an impression at the club and the players involved in the story are Diego Milito, Goran Pandev, Maicon and Philippe Coutinho.

Is anyone tempted?

No not tempted at all bale is one of are best player’s what garbage. And also levy is trying to lower the wage bill so he is going to be well up for swapping 1 player for 4 isn’t he NO!

NO – never going to happen, these rumours never come true anyway, its hard enough agreeing terms with one player never mind 4. I would be interested in Milito, or Pandev if they were available, remains to be seen if we could afford the wages though, same old story :(

If they offer Eto, Maicon and coutinho plus 10 mill maybe spurs could do a deal! Then spurs can hijack the N’Zogbia deal from villa or a bid for Mata.

More lazy made up stories….. boring..

anyways Coutinho is one of there key young players.. they aren’t going to offer him as well as 3 other top quality international players. Would have more believable for them to have said Muntari instead given Redknapp’s fetish to buy the gash he had at the second rate club that is Portsmouth still surpirsed we signed Freidel and not David James… Still a month of the transfer window left for that to happen as well

come on that’s ridiculous. we don’t wanna have to pay these player’s wages and fair play to bale- he has come out and pledged his commitment to us for the coming season at least. maicon would be a good signing but at the expense of bale…no thanks. we already have good full backs with walker and bae plus plenty of backups. lets just get a top striker in, another young promising one and perhaps a replacement for luka when he does go. afellay would be amazing, and with vdv’s influence maybe…..

So…this is suggesting we get an aging defender, an aged Pandev (absolutely no value), Diego Milito (good striker) and Coutinho (a young staple of Inter’s future) for Bale. I would certainly assume their wages are well beyond our limits. Seems kind of ridiculous.

The Itiy’s are back again with their horse shit, next it will be the red corner of Milan with them trying to swap the Arse has been Flamini for Sandro, might even throw in Clarence Sedorf and Poalo Maldini for good measure. You’ve just got to laugh really have’nt you, taxi for Maicon.
