The media in Spain are presently claiming that Spurs are looking at Atletico Madrid striker Adrian with a view to meeting his buy out clause which stands at 18 million euros.

The centre forward has been briefly looked at in the past and looking at bare stats, he isn’t necessarily the prolific striker that the club needs.

At 25 years of age, he’s already played for five clubs in his homeland and currently averages around a goal every six games at best. He also has two full international caps, scoring once in a friendly with Serbia.

It’s his performances in last season’s Europa League that have brought him to prominence however – he scored ten goals in Atletico’s victorious campaign – but can he possibly repeat that in the premiership?

  1. Could be another Postiga!
Surely we need a proven goal scorer to turn our posession in to goals, something we lacked last season?!

    • Suarez was a “proven goalscorer” until he came to England – now he is an “proven average goalscorer”. Basically there is no guarantee.

      • Because if we can get him for say 6M it would be a steal! once he is back from injury if he can emulate his Laliga form in the prem .Wee would have a top class striker on are hands! Also he is recovering quicker than first thought and should be back end of October early November time! Really think this is a deal we shouldnt miss out on!

  2. Lets make a proper offer for Leandro Damiao then we can try to get Oscar as he has been stated as saying in the press today that no teams have put in an offer to sign him lets get them both before Chelski do decide to make an offer. The stories of Oscar being signed by Chelski i think were falsely leaked to the press to make us all think that the deal was done which meant we would not bother making an offer for him. We have to keep trying for these two players they play well together.

  3. all crap we need top draw players to stay with man city and utd i love to see benzema or lorente we got 2 good strikers at spurs we just need that bit more spend 30m plus lets see the mighty spurs back where they belong
