It’s rare to see a new name mentioned in connection with a move to Spurs during this transfer window but the media are linking Sierra Leone international Mohammed Kamara with a transfer to the club. Kamara is a defensive midfielder and is widely being mentioned as yet another potential replacement for Luka Modric.

Kamara is 24 and is thought to be available this summer for a fee of around £12m – less than half the amount being quoted for Porto’s Joao Moutinho. After playing with HJK Helsinki for three seasons, Kamara moved to Belgrade in 2010. He has currently played over 60 games for Partizan while he also has 8 full caps for his country.

Kamara is widely known as Medo (thankfully not Mido) and while he is not well known outside of the Serbian league, will he be stepping into Luka’s boots before the season begins?
